A dark and delicious black IPA with two kinds of rye and a spicy bite, born out of a collaboration with BRLO Brewery!
Two Chefs Brewing X BRLO Brewery Collab
Your two favorite cities, Berlin and Amsterdam, band together to bring you this brutal beast of a beer! Our friends at BRLO Brewery joined us in cooking up something dark and dangerously good. Using our combined adoration for gastronomy and passion for creating unique and exciting craft beers, we’ve brewed this shadowy Black Rye IPA. It’s shrouded in darkness with a spicy edge – just like our two great cities, which are known for their exhilarating nightlife, amongst other things.
Double Rye Spice
Body Wrap (6.4%) is brewed with two types of rye that give it a lightly spicy and peppery taste that offsets the balanced hop bitterness. In addition to roasted rye, the malt bill also contains wheat and barley, all of which add to the rich and dark toasty malt character of the beer.
Collab artist feature: Michiel van der Born
For this collab brew, we invited Amsterdam-based tattoo artist Michiel van der Born to design the label. Michiel is a graphic and typographic designer turned painter who found his calling as a tattoo artist. Together with a colleague, he runs a tattoo parlor in Amsterdam and is known for his bright and bold traditional style of tattoos. He went for a traditional old-school tattoo design but flipped it by combining two classic tattoo illustrations into one. Merging an eagle and a panther into an epic mythological beast, just like the two breweries uniting to bring you this BIPA!
