This gnarly creation came to life one spooky night under the full moon as our mad scientist brewers were conducting secretive experiments with radical amounts of hops. The result: a freakily hoppy NEDIPA of 8.5%!
It’s mega dank due to the dry-hopping with insane amounts of Mosaic, Simcoe, and Strata hops. As a result, the beer has terrific aromas, far-out tropical fruit tones, and awesome stone fruit flavors. A heavy blend of flaked oats, wheat, and barley forms a robust malt body and gives the beer a soft mouthfeel and subtle finish. Because it’s brewed with an extra-large amount of hops and malt, this isn’t just a regular New England IPA, but a New England Double IPA – making it stronger and hoppier, with more bitterness and a higher alcohol content while still pleasantly hazy with fruity characteristics
