ENKEL

Enkel, also known as ‘Blonde’ or ‘Paterbier,’ is the lightest beer in the abbey family. It has a low alcohol content of around 5% and a mild flavour. With subtle sweet and spicy notes, this beer is ideal for those who like an accessible abbey beer.

DUBBEL

Dubbel beers are darker and firmer than Enkels, with an alcohol content of 6-7%. Their rich flavour comes from caramel-like malts, with notes of dried fruits such as sultanas and plums. Perfect for lovers of more complex beers.

TRIPEL

Tripels are more powerful, golden-coloured beers with an alcohol content of between 7.5 and 9%. They combine spicy and fruity flavours with a slight dryness. These beers are known for their balanced but intense flavour experience.

QUADRUPEL

Quadrupples are the heavyweights, with an alcohol content of 10% or higher. They have a deep, dark colour and complex flavours of caramel, roasted malt and dark fruit. A real treat for lovers of rich and heavy beers.

CONCLUSIE

From Enkel to Quadruple, each abbey beer has its own unique character and flavour profile. Whether you are looking for a light, accessible beer or a heavy, intense drink, there is always an abbey beer to suit your taste.
