This beer is so thick it defies reality, like a delectable syrup turned stout. This is no dark magic illusion, the mysterious jet black color is a result of double mashing with a wicked mix of dark roasted malt. Spoon Bending (10.1%) is a beer to be reckoned with while simultaneously being a desert pastry with delicious full flavors of chocolate, toffee, coffee and lots and lots of nuts. The bold nuttiness comes from a blend of peanuts, almonds and hazelnuts. The addition of almonds even gives the beer a hint of marzipan. It’s dark as the night and crazy good!
